Our team is studying the mechanisms involved in the equal distribution of chromosomes during mitosis and how these mechanisms are regulated by centromere/kinetochore associated proteins. Our work is coupled with studies on small molecule inhibitors which exert their anti-mitotic function by targetting key processes involved in cell division.
