The IBS is recruiting a researcher (m/f) in de novo protein design within the DYNAMOP group, for a period of 24 months.

The mission of the researcher is to design enzyme bio-scavengers to neutralize against small molecule toxins. The researcher will use AI-based protein (re-)design tools, and experimentally validate the designs via protein crystallography.

The proposed position is part of a research project related to national security. The recruited person must comply with all the criteria defined in the project’s funding agreement.

Candidate profile :
 PhD in bio-informatics, biophysics, biochemistry, biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, informatics or related ;
 Experience in coding (python or other computer language) ;
 Experience with one or more of the following skills would be highly evaluated : protein design or the usage of artificial intelligence for structural biology ; protein expression and purification ; protein crystallization and macromolecular crystallography.
