PSB Spotlight on Liquid-Liquid Phase Separation
Date
Thursday 18 September from 09:00 to 12:30
Localisation
Salle des séminaires IBS
Liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) underlies the formation of membrane-less condensates that regulate essential cellular processes and are implicated in cancer, neurodegeneration, gene regulation or infection. The PSB Spotlight brings together researchers from across the campus—and beyond—to share insights into LLPS and highlight how light and neutron scattering, spectroscopy, microscopy, and complementary biophysical methods can help unravel these complex systems. By fostering dialogue and collaboration across our local scientific community, this event aims to strengthen our collective expertise and lay the groundwork for future interdisciplinary initiatives in this rapidly evolving field.
