Hello ! My name is Mrinalini Lianne Rao, a Ph.D. student of the GenOM team, I2SR group,at the Institut de Structurale Biologie. My field utilizes a combination of various molecular and structural biology techniques, notably, Super-Resolution Microscopy to study the cellular dynamics between human DNA glycosylase (hNTH1) and its partner YB1 during DNA repair in eukaryotic cancer cell lines.

My academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Genetics followed by a Master’s in Molecular Biology, Human Genetics, and BioHealth Engineering. Having a rich academic base in Life Sciences has piqued my interest to delve deeper into the domains of structural biology, to discover interesting phenomena that could revolutionize the field of oncology.
