Previously member of the Immune Response to Altered Self (IRPAS) group, I have been working for more than 10 years with my small team on the clearance of apoptotic cells by macrophages (also called Efferocytosis), at the molecular and cellular levels, and in particular by focusing on the C1q protein and its partners, its phagocytic receptors.
I teach at the Chemistry-Biology Department but also at Polytech-Grenoble (engineering institute) and at the Pharmacy Department. I teach cellular and molecular biology and this includes courses on immunology and on advanced methods of fluorescence microscopy (super resolution) and flow cryometry.
I am currently a member of the Technical Committee of the UGA, of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Biological Sciences of the CNRS and of the National Council of Universities (section 65, cell biology.)
