Katharina Weinhäupl receives the prize Nine Choucroun-Fondation Edmond de Rothschild

Katharina Weinhäupl, former IBS PhD student under the supervision of P. Schanda (IBS/NMR group) from October 2017 to January 2018, has been awarded the 2019 Nine Choucroun-Fondation Edmond de Rothschild Prize. This prize, awarded every two years under the auspices of the Institute of Physical-Chemical Biology, is intended to encourage young researchers working in the field of Physical-Chemical Biology who have obtained their PhD in a French laboratory in the previous two years.
Katharina is distinguished for her thesis work on the mechanisms of membrane protein transport in mitochondria.
