Franck Fieschi, Professor at the University of Grenoble Alpes and head of the Membrane & Pathogens Group and of the Membrane and Immunity team of the IBS, has been appointed Senior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) as of October 1, 2022 and for a period of 5 years. This nomination rewards the work of his team, at the physics-biology-chemistry interface, on phagocyte NADPH oxidases and C-type lectins, pathogen recognition receptors of our immune cells.
