Traineeships

As part of its research training activity, the IBS welcomes every year students coming from various educational establishments with the aim of completing their training in biology, chemistry, physics or pharmacy. The IBS welcomed about 85 interns during the year 2021.

Applications must be made 3 to 6 months before the beginning of the traineeship and a contract must be signed between the IBS and the trainee’s University or School before the beginning of the traineeship.

The IBS is particularly involved in training students from University Grenoble Alpes (UGA) in Grenoble because the UGA is one of the IBS’s parent organisations. However contracts may be signed with any other French or European establishment.

Masters level training projects are available and require validation by the appropriate Departments at the UGA (Chemistry & Biology, Pharmacy and Physics). Applicants should consult the list of projects proposed below and contact the researcher proposing the project directly.

Applications for undergraduate or other traineeships are analysed on a case-by-case basis. Interested applicants should write to ibs.stage-alternance@ibs.fr.
