Researcher in biophysics (one-year fixed-term contract - FDP group)

A one-year fixed-term contract is available in the FDP group to investigate the behavior of proteins within and on the surface of biomolecular condensates

Mission : Your tasks will include :
1. Carrying out research work, from setting up the experiment to writing up the results :
At least two of the following :
Innovating smFRET methods to measure protein dynamics on the surface of biomolecular condensates.
Analysis of smFRET data to study conformation and dynamics of disordered proteins in condensates.
Expression and purification and labeling of intrinsically disordered proteins.
Develop electrophysiology measurements to measure voltage within biomolecular condensates.

2. Participate in the life of the laboratory :
Take part in the life of the research group (logistics, reagent stocks, tidying up, etc.)
 Help supervising trainees
Take part in the Institute’s scientific events

Required skills : The ideal candidate must have :
 Relevant experience : 1 to 4 years
Expertise in single molecule methods is preferred.
Expertise with custom optical microscopes is preferred.
Expertise in data analysis and coding is highly preferred.
