Instruct cryo-EM sample preparation workshop

The Instruct Worshop, jointly organized by ESRF, EMBL Grenoble and IBS from May 28 to 30, 2024, focused on sample preparation for cryo-EM of isolated particles. This 2.5-day workshop is designed for PhD students, postdocs and scientists wishing to delve into the field of cryo-EM of isolated particles. Throughout the workshop, participants were given an overview of the theoretical and practical aspects of sample preparation, including preliminary quality control by negative staining. In addition, participants had the opportunity to assess the quality of grids they had prepared themselves.
