Mini-symposium on single-molecule FRET and NMR spectroscopy

Localisation

IBS seminar room

This mini-symposium is open to all, subject to registration at least 48 hours in advance with its organizer, Malene Ringkjobing Jensen.

Program of this mini-symposium:

Ben Schuler, University of Zurich: Interaction dynamics of highly charged IDPs
Ben Schuler is an expert on single-molecule FRET with a particular focus on studies of the dynamics of biological systems involving intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs).
More information about Ben and his research group can be found here.

Anja Böckmann, University of Lyon: Solid-state NMR of viral proteins
Anja Böckmann is an expert on solid-state NMR for the studies of viral assemblies and membrane proteins.
More information about Anja and her research group can be found here.

Flemming Hansen, University of College London: Unlocking enzyme behaviour and histone deacetylase activity: A deep dive into NMR and deep learning
Flemming Hansen is an expert in protein dynamics by solution NMR spectroscopy and has recently developed artificial intelligence approaches for NMR.
More information about Flemming and his research group can be found here.
