Séminaire IBS : Increase the impact of your scientific publications - Some tips for both quality and quantity

There are ways to improve the impact of your scientific publications that do not require you to have perfect English and a complete grasp of its grammar. In this talk, we will explore a number of approaches, including pre-writing planning, preparing your pitch, and genre analysis – spotting the patterns that characterise well-written papers. For those who love lists, there will be some tips to avoid the classical traps for French speakers. However, sometimes the main bottleneck in your publication workflow is not just experimental or linguistic, it’s about finding the time to write. We will also look at how to do that.
