MSc degree in physics (Kyiv, Ukraine) and M2 in bio-physico-chemistry (Strasbourg, France). During my PhD in the Laboratory of Bioimaging and Pathologies (Strasbourg) I studied the nucleolar distribution of the HIV-1 protein NCp7. A big part of the project was focused on the development of a super-resolution microscope and protocol optimization for two-color PALM/STORM imaging.
Current scientific interests : the photophysics of photo - transformable / switchable fluorescent proteins that are used as markers in localization microscopy. The goal of my PostDoc project within the Pixel team is to characterize the properties of these proteins at cryogenic temperature on the single molecule level and select the best candidates for Cryo-PALM imaging ; development of a correlative optical and electron microscopy technique (CLEM).
