Advanced Isotope Labeling Methods Practical School
The Instruct Practical School for Advanced Isotope Labeling Methods (AILM) was created by Jérôme Boisbouvier and Lionel Imbert in 2015 to provide young biological researchers with practical and theoretical training in state-of-the-art isotopic-labelling approaches for NMR studies. PhD students and post-docs receive hands-on experience in a broad range of labelling methods, including specific labelling, segmental labelling and in vitro expression of RNA and proteins from field-leading experts at the Institut de Biologie Structurale on the beautiful EPN Grenoble campus. The school ran in 2015, 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2024 and has served over 80 trainees, with plans for another in 2026.
